Hey guys
Was having a discussion about MA on a facebook page, and a guy posted a video of a street fight where a guy smacks one guy round the head which staggers him, then follows up with a head kick which knocks him out.
After that a few people commented that the kick wasnt really part of the fight, the punch did the job and the kick was just an add on. Then however a guy who we know teaches self defence said that attacks to stunned or diminished targets are legitimate tactics, and that they can be quite far ranging hence why the head kick worked so easily. He actually said
"if you beat on a guy enough, you can tie his shoes together if you want to"
Anyway, it got me thinking. When I was in Karate we never learned techniques for these kind of situations. So I wondered if your specific art has moves to stunned or staggered opponents specifically. not "finishing moves" but something to the effect mentioned.
