Compared to Appalachia the Adirondacks are boring.
Grassman, Wampus Beast, Wolfman, Hellhound, Devil Dog, Hellcat, Yahoo, Fire Dragon, Lizard Demon, Mothman, and my personal favorite, Sheepsquacth (I shudder to think how that one got created).

All we have is an occasional Bigfoot. Boring!
It must be a result of the quality of the homemade moonshine because I believe a true Adirondacker can hold their own in the liquor department.
I recently got the Destination America channel. If your looking for entertainment I'd recommend Monsters and Mysteries of America and for outright comedy Mountain Monsters.
