Why Do People Persist in Believing Things That Just Aren't True?

People often ask me this question. Well, a new study was done, and it pretty much explains that people believe stuff that isn't true, and why, despite given the real answers repeatedly.

You need to be able to detect the crapola through critical thinking, so u can think for yourself but you also have to be willing to be like that, anyway I found this to be an interesting read.
