I have a collection of fly tying materials that has been many many years in the making. Recently I discovered that my bucktails (commercially purchased) have developed a mold on the skin side of the tail. I've never seen this before and haven't changed the way I'm storing them. Just wondering if others have had this problem and how you resolved it. So far I have sprayed it with a mold/mildew spray that doesn't look like it has killed it. Am thinking about using some bleach or ammonia next. Any ideas?
