Bear Proofing

Do you take bear canisters when you overnight kayak/canoe camp in ADK? If so, do you put them in a dry sack? Line them with an Aloksak (which also seals in aromas)? Or just take as is?



I have a Ratsack as well, and I've frequently thrown a bear bag, but never used a canister. But I also haven't done any backcountry stuff at ADK.
